Colour Schemes
Sweep has a number of colour schemes to easily distinguish between the
files being worked on.
Normally, the scheme for a file is based on a hash of the file name, such
that a file will be assigned the same colour each time it is loaded into
Sweep (idea due to Erik de Castro Lopo).
You can change the scheme used at any time through the
View->Colour Schemes
menu.

Orangeboom means "orange tree" in Dutch, and is fun to say. |
|
This is close to the original colour scheme of early Sweep alpha release
versions 0.1.x, which was of course somewhat less functional.
The name is also a reference to the LAME encoder project, which used Sweep
in May 2000
to visualize
the outputs of various decoders concerning an
ambiguity in the MP3 ISO specification. |

This is of course named after the bay at which
you will find Coogee Beach
in Sydney, Australia. |
|
Continuing the irrelvent tour of Sydney, this is named after
Blackwattle Bay,
home of the
Sydney Fish Market
where you can eat really good fresh sashimi by the box full. |
|
This icy scheme is named after
Frigid, an excellent
electronic music night, every Sunday in Sydney. |
|
This is an especially high contrast colour scheme designed for what a
user once described as "bleary eyed 3:00 AM editing sessions". |
